10 Craft Ideas To Do With Miles Morales Coloring Pages

Here are 10 inexpensive, fun, and creative craft ideas you can do with your completed coloring page!

10. Bookmarks

Turn my Miles Morale pictures into cute bookmarks that will make your kids want to open their little tomes again and again.

To start with, have your kids pick out which Miles Morales figures they want to use; print them out and have your kids color them in and cut them out.

Next, you’ll need cardstock, which you can either cut into a rectangle and paste the cut-out onto or trace the cut-out against the cardstock.

If you opt for the latter, you’ll then cut out the outline and paste the two pieces together. Either way, it serves to reinforce the flimsier computer paper.

9. Party Goody Bags

If you’re hosting a Spider-Man-themed birthday party, you’ve got to have cute goody bags for the guests.

You can DIY it with my Miles Morales illustrations, having your kids color in the figures and cutting them out, then pasting them to the gift bags (paper ones work best).

They’d be really cute with Spider-Man stickers or stamps, as well!

8. Cupcake/Cake Toppers

To make Miles Morales cake or cupcake toppers, you will need shrink sheets. You’ll print out the figures you want to use onto the shrink sheets.

You or your kids can color them in with markers and cut them out, then bake them off per your shrink sheets’ instructions.

Once they’ve cooled, break out your hot glue gun and glue extra-long toothpicks or even popsicle sticks to the backs of the cut-outs.

When the glue has dried completely, you can pop them into your baked goods!

7. Paper Action Figures

You can make paper action figures out of my Miles Morales pictures in just 15 minutes – freeing up your kids’ time to play and use their imaginations!

Print out the figures they want to use and have them color them in and cut them out.

They’re going to trace them against construction paper or cardstock and then cut out the outlines.

Paste the two pieces together, and voilà – you have sturdy paper action figures that cost next to nothing.

6. Masks

Find a Spider-Man picture where his masked face is featured prominently.

You’ll copy and paste the illustration into a word processor document, then isolate just the face and resize it to be larger.

Print that off and have your kids color it in and cut it out.

They’re going to poke holes on either side of the face and tie pieces of string into each, with enough string dangling that it can meet behind their heads and be tied into a bow.

5. Stickers/Decals

My Miles Morales pictures would make awesome stickers or decals.

You’ll need a Cricut or something like it.

Digitally color in the figures you want to use and print them off onto the sticker paper of your choice.

You’ll then feed it into the Cricut and let it do its thing on the Print and Cut set.

Once it’s done, you should have peelable stickers that you can use on water bottles, laptops, school binders, and lockers – the sky’s the limit!

4. Book Covers

If you have a tiny Spider-Man fan who has a tiny book that needs recovering, you can use my Miles Morales pictures.

Copy and paste the illustration you want to use into a word processor document that has been oriented to landscape.

You’ll center it on the right-hand side, leaving about an inch of margin all around. Print that off and lay it illustration side down (the picture should now be on the left side).

Lay the book down on the page and mark with a pencil where the top and bottom of the book lie. Set the book aside and fold down the paper, top, and bottom, along the line you drew.

This should form flaps that you can then use to slip over the existing book cover.

3. Pencil Holders

Round up your pencils, pens, markers, or colored pencils in one of these nifty pencil holders made from the bottom of a 20-oz. bottle of soda.

Cut about four or five inches from the bottom of the soda bottle and clean it out completely.

You’ll then isolate and enlarge Miles Morales’ Spider-Man face to be about five or six inches long and print that out.

Have your kids color it in and cut it out. They’ll then wrap the face around the soda bottle, pasting or taping the sides in place.

2. Keychains

For this craft, you will need shrink sheets and the keychain hardware of your choice.

Print out the Miles Morales figures you want to use and have your kids color them in and cut them out.

Before you bake, you’ll punch holes where you want the keychain hardware to affix. Bake the cut-outs then and wait for them to cool.

Once they’re ready, you can attach the keychain hardware.

1. Mini-Comic Books

Have your kids pick out three to five Miles Morales pictures and color them in. They’ll then write in the blank space what’s going on in the picture, making up scenarios.

Or they can actually cut down pictures into little squares and place them on a page of construction paper like a real comic book set!

Either way, they can create a cover page and then bind them all together by using a three-hole punch and O-rings or slipping on a binding bar.
