CLARION — It was nearly one year ago when a four-alarm fire destroyed the 140-year-old Hahne Building at the corner of Main Street and Fifth Avenue in Clarion. The effect of that fire continued this week.

The Silver Cornet Band will begin rehearsals for its summer season on Monday evenings beginning next week and running through May. Rehearsals are scheduled from 7 to 8 p.m. on the second floor of Franklin City Hall.
