This song deals with the regret of failing or doing something wrong. While it does include the peacemaking desire of a nine, the effort and personal remorse that is emphasized in this song makes it very characteristic of a one in my opinion.

This song describes the moral struggle of being unable to get out of something you know is wrong, i.e. an affair. Ones are driven by their sense of right and wrong, so this is exactly how they would feel in this situation.

Twos are so giving that it can become a fault. This song conveys the frustration of giving everything to someone only for them to do you wrong in the end, leaving you helpless and unable to respond with your usual grace as a two.

Fours looove feeling special. The symbolism in this song creatively and emotionally tells the story of a failed love that once made a person feel unique and important.

I wanted to peg this one as a type 3 at first, but I realized it’s not as much about the family’s success as it is the mystery of their demise. Fives are full of curiosity and passionate about finding answers. The detailed retelling of this strange story appeals to that kind of curiosity.

Fives find comfort in reasoning and thinking through things. Taking time to think deeply in the midst of a chaotic situation may seem unusual, but it’s how fives process tragedy.

Nines are similar to twos in that they will give anything to protect their most cherished relationships. The main character is so concerned about not being able to give her significant other peace, so it’s clearly a virtue that she values deeply.

This song describes the journey of preparing to apologize with the hopes of reconciling a relationship. Peace with the people they care about is the most important thing to nines, so they would definitely write a whole song to say sorry, like this one.
